January 19, 2025: The annual award ceremony of the squadron was held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Dave Meyer and Darnell King, from the Brainerd VFW, were asked to help present an award to non-commissioned officer of the year & VFW NCO MSgt. James Flerlage. Then an award to cadet officer of the year & VFW cadet officer of the year C/2d Lt Susan Heffron.
