Sunday, February 8, 2026, the Brainerd VFW annual Superbowl Party. Kickoff is at 5:30 pm. Food will be available. Donations to cover the food cost will be appreciated.
The Super Bowl will be played at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the San Francisco 49ers. You don't have to leave town to enjoy the action. The Brainerd VFW has big screen TVs.

Sunday, February 9, 2025: Super Bowl LIX was played at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans with all of the usual pageantry. Plenty of good food, including fried chicken and ribs. Many brought friends to the Brainerd VFW. Everyone stood for the National Anthem. The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40 to 22. The Chiefs did not score in the first half and had a difficult time making points in the second half. That didn't deter people from partying at the Brainerd VFW.

February 11, 2024: Superbowl LVIII the Brainerd VFW was a great spot for Super Bowl fans. The crowd was very respectful when the National Anthem was played. Then it was on to watching the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas. The Chiefs came out on top 25 to 22 in overtime action, a thrilling game. There was plenty of food and fun.

February 12, 2023: There was pretty much a full house Superbowl crowd at the Brainerd VFW with good food and conversation. Everyone stood for the National Anthem. Nice patriotic stories on the TV before the game. The crowd cheered as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38 to 35 in the last few seconds of the game. A real thriller.
February 13, 2022: The Annual Brainerd VFW Super Bowl Party was held with potluck food, fun and prizes. The crowd stood for the National Anthem. Everyone had a great time as the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.
Photos below are from February 2, 2020, Superbowl Party. The place was packed. Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. There was plenty of food and partying, even if the Minnesota Vikings were not playing that day. Door prizes were given too.
