Wednesday, October 29, 2025, 4:15 pm: The 15th annual Military Veteran Dinner weas held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd. It is free to all veterans and their families. Flags were long the driveway where visitors approached. Over 100 attended. They heard a thank you to veterans and their wives, then a prayer. Good food and conversation.

November 6, 2024: Visitors to Trinity were greeted with flags at the 14th annual veteran's dinner.

Then it was into the church for a prayer and a program thanking brave men and women veterans who unselfishly served our country. More than 100 attended. 

Crow Wing County Veteran Service Officers Erik Flowers was there to help out. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by everyone. God Bless American was sung. There was turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans, then cake with an American flag.
