Concert at the Brainerd High School. The Brainerd Honor Guard/Color Guard was there to present the flag. There was a full house with standing room only.

You had to be there to feel the excitement! The Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants filled every seat in the house at the Gichi-Ziibi Center on Monday night, March 8. Our honor guard opened the event and the National Anthem was sung by all. The two hour program varied from classical to pop, astonishing the crowd with their medley of songs by Billy Joel, Paul Simon and Elton John. Most heartwarming, though, was the playing of the Armed Forces Medley that had folks standing for their respective military service. ​
