Happy New Year
Tom and Jerrys every January 1st

Wednesday January 1, 2025, 11 am to 1 pm: Brainerd VFW members and familes are invited to the New Year's Day Party. There will be food, along with free Tom and Jerry refreshments.

Monday, January 1, 2024, 11 am to 2 pm: Brainerd VFW members and families rang in the new year with Tom and Jerrys. Commander Borle was there to help in the kitchen, along with other volunteers. That included Brian Engholm who was washing dishes.

Then Dawn Garin started it! She decided the Christmas decorations should come down. There you go, one more holiday over.

Sunday, January 1, 2023: Paid post and auxiliary members showed up to ring in the new year at the free annual Tom and Jerry Party at the Brainerd VFW. There was lunch and good conversation.

January 1, 2022: It's tradition. VFW post and auxiliary members, along with their families, gathered for free Tom and Jerrys 11 am to 1 pm to celebrate. They toasted to the new year and continued friendship at Brainerd VFW Post 1647. A light lunch was served, and everyone had a great time. One woman won $500 in charitable gambling.
