Flag Day is a national holiday when we celebrate the fact that on this day in 1777, we adopted our national flag. The red signifies valor and willingness to sacrifice. Blue stands for vigilance and justice. White represents pure intentions and high ideals. Elks have celebrated this since 1890.
The flag is on all of our national buildings, state buildings, many of our homes, on ships, and even on the Moon. |

The Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America were sung by Shelly Satre. The master of ceremonies was Bill Satre, Exalted Ruler of the Lodge, who led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. The flag history story was told from 1776 to the present. Elks are very patriotic and honor the sacrifices of veterans. |
