The Brainerd Downtwon Golf Tournament is held the first Saturday in April each year. Check back for details on the next one.
April 5, 2025: The 18th Annual Downtown Minigolf Spring Open Tournament was held. Locations: VFW – Shep’s – Blue Oyster – O’Neary’s, SE’z – The Parlor – Sage and Slice on Oak – Pit Stop – 9th Street Social Club – Elk’s – Yesterday’s Gone – Last Turn Saloon – Brainerd Legion – El Potro – Ya Sure Kombucha. Hot dogs, chili dogs and chips were available at the VFW from 11 to 4 pm. Wrap up at the Brainerd Legion at 6 pm where they used black lighting for the event.
There was a $10 green fee for Brainerd Restoration, raising $4570.00 in 2025.

Saturday, April 1, 2023: The Brainerd VFW was a hot spot of activity for the annual Downtown Golf Tournament. The day ended at the Legion where they were playing under black light. Lots of fun.

Saturday, April 2, 2022, Downtown Golf in Brainerd went through the VFW, Shep's, O'Neary's, The Parlor, SE'z, Pit Stop, 9th Street Social Club, Elks, Yesterday's Gone and the 612 Station, then to the Legion at 6 pm. Food was served at the Brainerd VFW. Everyone had a great time. Proceeds went to Brainerd Restoration.
April 24, 2021, The annual Downtown Golf Tournament in Brainerd. Twelve businesses, including the VFW, helped raise money for Brainerd Restoration. Lunch was available for hungry players.
