Saturday, December 14, 2024, noon to 2 pm: Brainerd VFW members and families, along with active military members and families, are invited to visit with Santa. It starts at noon with food and song. Santa is expected to arrive at about 1 pm and is interested in hearing what kids would like for Christmas.
Saturday, December 9, 2023: Santa flew to the Brainerd VFW for an afternoon of fun. Food was served and there was a music sing along by Sergeant at Arms Mike Williams. Then Santa talked with kids about what they would like for Christmas. Brainerd VFW Auxiliary President Sue Sterling used caligraphy to make name tags. A fun time was had by all.

Saturday, December 10, 2022: The Brainerd VFW held its annual Twelve and Under Children's Christmas Party. This was a free event for everyone. There was pizza, gifts given to kids, singing and fun. Twas the Night Before Christmas was read by Post Chaplain Mark Persons. Auxiliary President Sue Sterling wrote children's names in calligraphy. Donny Shogren played organ, Mike Williams played harmonica, and Sue Sterling sang. Several kids sang into a microphone too. Ten large pizzas were served along with cookies and soft drinks.
There was a heavy snowstorm at the North Pole. Rudolph, with his nose so bright, guided Santa's sleigh to the Brainerd VFW, arriving at 12:30 pm.

December 18, 2021,11 am to 1 pm: Santa came to visit at the Brainerd VFW, to the delight of youngsters and oldsters alike. Music was provided by Mike Williams and Don Shogren.
