Children's Christmas Party at the Brainerd VFW
Saturday, December 9, 2023, 11 am to 1 pm: All military members and family, along with Brainerd VFW members and families, are invited. Food will be served first, then Santa will arrive at 12:30 pm to talk with kids about what they would like for Christmas.

It is always a great time to have pictures taken with the "big guy."

Saturday, December 10, 2022: The Brainerd VFW held its annual Twelve and Under Children's Christmas Party. This was a free event for everyone. There was pizza, gifts given to kids, singing and fun. Twas the Night Before Christmas was read by Post Chaplain Mark Persons. Auxiliary President Sue Sterling wrote children's names in calligraphy. Donny Shogren played organ, Mike Williams played harmonica, and Sue Sterling sang. Several kids sang into a microphone too. Ten large pizzas were served along with cookies and soft drinks.
There was a heavy snowstorm at the North Pole. Rudolph, with his nose so bright, guided Santa's sleigh to the Brainerd VFW, arriving at 12:30 pm.

December 18, 2021,11 am to 1 pm: Santa came to visit at the Brainerd VFW, to the delight of youngsters and oldsters alike. Music was provided by Mike Williams and Don Shogren.
