May 28, 2021: Bernie Nusbaum of Plunkett's Pest Control came by to spray for ants at the All Vets Memorial. Bernie was a sonar technician in the U.S. Navy from 1979 to 1985. He served aboard the USS Esteem and the USS Bainbridge in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Thanks, Bernie!
There is more to the story, Bernie's father Dan joined the U.S. Army at age 17 at the end of WWII. Then moved over to the U.S. Navy where he was an electronic technician, serving in Korea and Vietnam before retiring after 20 years of service.
