July 25, 2023: Disappointing day for Brainerd. They lost to Cold Spring 7-6. Wednesday there will be only 1 game, Cold Spring vs. St. Cloud Blue. Since our District gets to send two teams. Little Falls will automatically take one spot and the winner of Cold Spring or St. Cloud will be the other. All coaches agreed. Game Time is 11 am, Wednesday, July 26th. Kevin Jensen.

Brainerd VFW Post 1647 had the 2021 season come to a close on July 29th with a 5-4 loss to Cold Spring in the fourth round of the District 6 tournament. Mitchell Brau took the loss on the mound but pitched really well. He held a very good Cold Spring offense scoreless in the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings, allowing Brainerd to get back into the game. Offensively Brainerd was led by Isaac Hanson’s three hits. Cayden Brown had two hits, and Sawyer Hennessey scored two of Brainerd’s four runs.
From the team:
“We would like to thank Brainerd Post 1647 for all of their support this summer. They continue to donate their time, efforts, and money to this program thus allowing our boys to get better. We would also like to thank the Lower Site Crew for helping make Adamson Field a great place to play and practice on.”
