Financial Peace University in Brainerd, Minnesota
Classes ran March 1 through April 26, 2023. Ten students took the course at the Brainerd VFW. Instructor Michele Kriz is on the left with six of the students. Some could not attend that day because of bad weather.
The class goal was to learn to be debt free. As of graduation night, the students had paid off a total of $12,091 in debt while putting $4,300 in the bank. In true Dave Ramsey style, eleven credit cards were cancelled, seven of them being cut up during the class.
